AB-3088 Brings Some Certainty to Investors During the Pandemic

Known as the Tenant, Homeowner and Small Landlord Relief and Stabilization Act of 2020, the new law provides certainty to renters and some protection for small landlords. It extends the eviction moratorium through January and requires that tenants show evidence of lost income due to COVID-19 in exchange for non-payment.

Most Expensive Stadium Ever Built Debuts in LA Without Fans
The site now becomes the NFL’s largest stadium. At 3.1M SF, SoFi Stadium will hold about 70,000 fans with the capacity to host up to 100,000 for special events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College National Championship in 2023 and the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Olympics.

Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a package of real estate-related measures aimed at boosting housing development and protecting tenants. Among the 15-bill package is one aimed at boosting moderate-income, medium-density housing development.
