AB-3088 Brings Some Certainty to Investors During the Pandemic
Known as the Tenant, Homeowner and Small Landlord Relief and Stabilization Act of 2020, the new law provides certainty to renters and some protection for small landlords. A robust pipeline of new apartments planned prior to the COVID-19 pandemic has continued to deliver projects throughout 2020. To attract tenants to properties at a time when Americans are facing economic uncertainty, owners are now offering generous concessions, including months of free rent.
